About Good to Go
We do one thing: help transitioning service members, veterans, and federal civilians write their experience, clearance, and scope in language defense contractors understand.
Built by one person
I'm Brandon. I built Good to Go on my own as an independent project after years spent around government contracting hiring, where I kept watching strong service members and federal employees get filtered out because their resumes did not speak a recruiter's language. I run the whole thing myself: the tools and every Expert Review.
Good to Go is not affiliated with any employer, agency, or contractor of mine, past or present, and none of them endorse it. It is my own project, built and operated independently.
Who we serve, and who we do not
We serve active duty, Reserve, National Guard, veterans, and federal civilians moving to defense contractor and GovCon roles. We do not write federal USAJOBS resumes, SF-86 forms, or classified content, and we do not apply to jobs for you.
How GovCon recruiters actually evaluate military experience and clearances
Every tool on this site reflects what recruiters do in the first minute: check clearance level and status, map experience to a labor category, count scope, and compare the resume to LinkedIn.
- Clearance gets checked before anything else.
- Labor categories are defined by years, education, and scope.
- Unexplained jargon and duty lists with no numbers get skipped.
Public-safe by design
We never ask for classified information, program names, or SF-86 detail. The $29 pack is generated automatically. If you add the $99 Expert Review, I personally review and edit your draft.
Not affiliated
Good to Go is not affiliated with the Department of Defense, any military branch, any federal agency, or any government contractor.
